Workshop on Collective Intelligence
on Semantic Web (CISW 2007)
IEEE/WIC/ACM Joint International
Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology 2007
Silicon Vally, USA, November 2-5, 2007
http://www.cs.sjsu.edu/wi07/
Scope
of the Workshop
Semantic web environment has been evolving. Especially, collective intelligence is a key issue to collaboratively share knowledge and even generate new knowledge. Many Web 2.0 platforms (e.g., blogs and wikis) have been developed to exchange meaningful information and support user-centered tasks on a variety of domains (e.g., e-learning, e-commerce, and e-government). Local knowledge should be annotated into a large amount of contents including not only simple documents but also multimedia data. For example, collaborative tagging (e.g., del.icio.us) can play an important role of knowledge (or information) sharing between peoples on social networks.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners in areas of knowledge and intelligence, semantics, and grid computing to share their visions, research achievements and solutions to real applications, to resolve the challenge issues and to establish worldwide cooperative research and development.
